TeachLab^â is an interactive educational multimedia system for computer classrooms and language laboratories.

Based on the latest microprocessor technology, TeachLab^â is a modular designed hardware system. It supports up to 120 student work stations - all linked by a single cable. TeachLabâ replaces and outperforms conventional teaching methodology using projection systems.

TeachLab^â is easy to use. No special training is required for the teacher, the LAN Manager or System Administrator. TeachLab^â works independently from the operating system, LAN and hardware platform.

Supervision and correction of student work is done from the teacher's desk or remotely. The remote control is small, light weight and easy to use. TeachLab^â commands are executed with a single touch.

The display of one workstation can be transmitted to one or several stations. Interactive help (with keyboard, mouse, video) is available for students directly from the teacher's controls.

The audio link offers another advantage for direct, interactive and performance-based teaching. TeachLab^â can be connected to the Sound Card of the computer in order to listen and record with the system's headsets.

The PAL / SECAM / NTSC converter to VGA/SVGA offers extraordinary teaching possibilities connecting TeachLab^â with external video resources such as TV set, magnetoscope, visualizer, camera, etc.

TeachLab^â facilitates high interaction between teachers and students in Distance Learning.

Audio / video / keyboard / mouse transfer enables students to use external resources such as the Internet, modem connection with remote computers, data banks, other teaching institutions, and video-conferences. Every student can practice on-line.

TeachLab^â with Video-conferencing enables switching of keyboard / mouse / telecamera. This feature allows control of video-conferencing from any teacher or student workstation.

TeachLab^â commands are available to the teacher at any moment from three, easy to use operational devices:

Touch screen or mouse
Cabled remote with integrated LCD display
Infra-Red remote with LCD display for easy operation anywhere the classroom
